“Into Marrakech” is my interpretation of my sensory experience in this city. It is a city oozing of smells and sights, and where gorgeous cooking spices line the streets. The sounds of watering fountains, exotic birds, flowers of riotous colors, curvilinear arches, and songs of prayers quieting the overall chaotic movement of the cacophony of mixed aromatic markets.
My painting “Into Marrakech “ , is my abstract visual response and attempt to depict the overall complexity of these sensory experiences. The vibrancy of the place was extraordinary.
